Profile of Rt. Honourable Aniedi I. King
Rt. Honourable Aniedi Ikpong King is a registered Surveyor by profession and born in 1956, to the family of Ikpong King, of Ekpene Ukpa Village, Iman Clan of Etinan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria.
He holds a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, (1980) from University of Ibadan and a Post Graduate Diploma in Surveying from the University of Lagos in 1983.
In 1985, RT. Hon. King bagged M.Sc in Surveying from the University of Lagos and later obtained Master in Business Administration from University of Benin.
Rt. Hon. Aniedi King is registered as a Surveyor by the Surveyors Registration Council of Nigeria (SURCON) and is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Surveying.
He had worked as an hydrographic surveyor with Ham Dredging (Nig.) Limited, Ports Harcourt and later as a project surveyor, Geosite Surveys, Operations Manager, Geosite Surveys Ltd. Rt. Hon King has been the Chairman/MD, Belmak (Nig.) Ltd.
Rt. Hon. Aniedi King, is a former Caretaker Committee Chairman, Etinan Local Government Area, a former Chairman / Head of Council, Etinan Local Government Area and now a member of the federal House of Representatives, representing Etinan Federal Constituency.
His is now a member of the Federal House of Representatives where he belongs to the following Committees:

He is currently the Chairman, House Sub-Committee on FERMA/Highways (South-South Zone)
