11. Award of excellence by Akwa Ibom State Youth in Agriculture in March 2005 for immense contribution to the development  of Agriculture.
12. Meritorious award as visionary leader on the 15th March 2005 by the Akwa Ibom Youth Movement.
13. 1st Nigerian Local Government Development award: for being the best performed local government chairman in Uyo Senatorial District of Akwa Ibom State by the Federal Republic of Nigeria, House of Representatives , Committee on State and Local Government on the 29th April 2005.
14. Obong Uwana Ibibio by Ifim Ibom (the Supreme Council of Ibibio Traditional Rulers) on the 30th July 2005.
15.  Award of Excellence by Akwa Ibom State Community, Rivers State, in recognition of philanthropic and meritorious services on 10th September 2005.
16.  Best performed Local Government Chairman Award in Akwa Ibom State by Federal House of Representatives Committee on State and Local Government on the 5th October 2005.
17. Second Best performed local government chairman award in the South-South geo-political zone by the Federal House of Representatives on the state and local government on 5th October 2005.
18. Best local government chairman (South-South geo political zone) category of the Enconium Magazine award for political leadership on 27th November, 2005
19. Excellence award for agriculture and grassroots development by the Independent Media Editors Forum (Akwa Ibom State) on the 15th December, 2005.
20. Excellent award as the grand commander of the youth council of Nigeria, Etinan chapter, on the 15tjh December 2005.
21. Best South-South Chairman Award by the South-South Convention forum on the 19th January 2006.
